KUALA TERENGGANU, July 26 (Bernama) -- The Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) has summoned five more individuals over the maintenance cost for Proton Perdana V6 Executive used by Terengganu officials between 2004 and 2008.
State ACA Director Sharuddin Sapian said they were ordinary civilians and called to the agency's office over the past two days.
"Since the case is still under investigation, we may call several other witnesses give statements from time to time if necessary," he said when contacted here Saturday.
So far, nine people have been summoned by the ACA pertaining to the case and it is believed that the five were mechanics engaged by the Terengganu government to service official vehicles.
Two days ago State Secretary Datuk Mokhtar Nong said four drivers of state executive councillors had been called to give statements.
Before that, the Terengganu Menteri Besar Office said in a statement that the state government had to pay RM1.07 million to maintain 15 Proton Perdana V6 Executive used by its executive councillors and senior officers from 2004 to 2008.
MY OBSERVATION:
MB Terengganu still playing politic with federal. And still to find out his own skill in politic.
His sentiment with ex-MB still high. All of these are more personal and not good for Malay Culture.
